A few days ago on Facebook I cancelled about 400 invites to fan pages. Far too many for a personal reply to each user, and a lot of time wasted. I decided I had enough of that crap.
So, I set up mu own policy about Facebook fan pages to define how and and under which circumstances I will accept (if I will) my contacts’ invites.

Even Facebook fan pages are a SEO matter. The more links a page has, the more it is visible. And there is no such thing as a free lunch. Are you asking for a link to your personal page, to your company or to something you produce on your own? First go too my page: AAA Copywriter Pubblicità Varese and become a fan. Then send me a personal message (not on the page, send a PM to my inbox), and I will link you back immediately.
Don’t send me Facebook invites. I will simply ignore them. And don’t send me pages without a link on their info, useless and silly pages, pages relating to politics or NGOs. I won’t accept them either. What I’m interested into are pages relating to marketing, advertising, SEO or blogs (“theme links), or by Web operators.
The same applies if you want a link for a client of yours or for his products, but in such a case the link must come from that page, not from yous (add my page to your favorites).
And I won’t accept pages you have’n authored yourselves, so don’t invite me to your friend’s pages. To me that’s spam.
What I can guarantee is that I will give all possible promotion to any page I will accept to both on my profile and on the related groups I run.
Thanks,
Alex
